ZoomShelf's mission is to make online shopping easier and faster. Our unique technology allows shoppers to see more available items than they can on other websites - and when you see more, you can more easily find exactly what you want. Searching through 35 pages of watches isn't fun - it's a hassle. Compared to traditional online stores, shopping on ZoomShelf is more like shopping in a real store. You can browse easily, and then zoom in on the things that interest you. We combine our technology with low prices and expert fulfillment powered by Amazon.com. Many of the products we offer may be delivered gift-wrapped, along with a customized message card. If an item can be gift-wrapped, the message "Gift wrap available" will be displayed on the item's details view, and during checkout.

Sometimes products in our database are misclassified. For example, an umbrella might show up in a category search for handbags. If you see such an error, we apologize. We are working on improving our system over time to avoid such problems. Note that you can quickly hide such products from your results using ZoomShelf's product filters. Also note that if you do a keyword search, you will most likely get products of all types in your results.

All the products on ZoomShelf are offered in association with Amazon.com. When you buy something on ZoomShelf, we forward your shopping cart information to Amazon, and they take care of the rest. Amazon takes your payment and handles shipping, inventory and product returns. While we may carry our own product inventory in the future, we think the current arrangement is good for our customers. Our customers use ZoomShelf to find what they want, and then enjoy from Amazon's world-class service for payments and shipping. And all items are the same price, whether bought through ZoomShelf or from Amazon directly.

ZoomShelf is an affiliate of Amazon.com, which means that we offer their products on our site and forward sales to them. Currently, this is the only relationship between ZoomShelf and Amazon. ZoomShelf is not a partner of Amazon, and Amazon has no ownership interest in ZoomShelf.

Since ZoomShelf forwards sales to Amazon.com, any purchase is actually a purchase from Amazon.com. Thus, Amazon, or their partners, will handle shipping your purchase. Shipping times and rates vary by product, but you will receive the same rates and level of service as you would if you purchased from Amazon directly. Likewise, any purchase returns will be handled by Amazon or their partners. Typically, each Amazon packing slip comes with directions for returning the enclosed items. Most modern web browsers will run ZoomShelf. In particular, for all computer systems, we recommend the Firefox browser, which is available as a free download. Windows users will have no problem running ZoomShelf in Internet Explorer version 6.0 and higher. Mac users will have no problem running ZoomShelf in the Safari browser version 2.0 and higher. Safari is also available for Windows. ZoomShelf also supports the Opera browser, version 9 and higher. Additionally, ZoomShelf should work in most Gecko-based browsers (such as Camino for Mac), though we haven't tested them all. ZoomShelf will not work on most mobile devices. With any browser, ZoomShelf requires that Javascript be enabled (it is enabled by default in all major browsers).

Though we thoroughly test each iteration of ZoomShelf, it's possible you will encounter an error that will prevent it from working for you. An error may take the form of a popup box in your browser, or ZoomShelf may just stop working (you might get a blank page, or ZoomShelf may stop responding at some point). If this happens to you, we apologize. You can help us make things better by letting us know what web browser and operating system you use, and, if possible, what you were doing in ZoomShelf when the error occurred. ZoomShelf relies heavily on Javascript programs that run in your web browser. On some computers ZoomShelf will take too long as it loads a search result, and Firefox will think it is a runaway script. In our experience, after pressing "Continue" on the "Unresponsive Script" dialog, ZoomShelf will complete loading without an error.
