When you are searching for a product, ZoomShelf shows you everything. All search results will be displayed in one page, with no "Next" button to get in your way.
With ZoomShelf, you don't have to wonder if the perfect product is hiding on the 2nd, 8th or 30th page of search results.
Here is an example view of ZoomShelf after a search for
Men's Watches:
Place your mouse pointer over any image to see more of its details:
Or click any item to view its full details page:
You can buy an item from its details page - or return to your search results by pressing your browser's Back button or clicking the Back to Search Results link.
A typical product search may return hundreds or even thousands of products - which means lots of uninteresting products getting between you and what you want.
To make it easier to find exactly what you want, ZoomShelf provides a set of simple but powerful controls for
grouping,
sorting and
filtering products.
Unlike other shopping sites, any changes on ZoomShelf's controls are immediately reflected in the product results display - without relaoding the web page. This makes it vary easy to try, adjust, refine, combine or simply undo different settings.
ZoomShelf can group products by brand or product type. This lets you quickly compare brands, find your favorite brands or ignore uninteresting product types.
Here is ZoomShelf displaying
handbags grouped by brand:
To quicly jump to a group, use the Find feature. The following shows the "Find Brand" control for
handbags. Clicking a brand name will move the view to the beginning of that brand's products.
Note that the grouping control depends on the results of your search - if all the products are of the same type, there will be no option to group by product type. If all the products are from the same brand, there will be no group by brand option.
By default, ZoomShelf sorts product results in Bestselling order (most popular products first) or Relevance order (best matches for your search), depending on your search.
You can use the sort control to set your preferred sort order - would you rather see the most popular items, or the least (or most) expensive first?
When products are grouped with the grouping control, products are sorted according to your settings within each group.
Filters let you hide products you're not interested in - so you can focus on the good stuff.
The price filter lets you set an arbitrary price range - just drag the sliders to set a minimum and maximum price. Products outside your range will be hidden from view.
You can also filter products by shipping time (how quickly the seller can ship the product) and by whether the seller can gift-wrap the product before shipping it.
To quickly undo your filters, and go back to seeing all your search results, simply click the Show All link.
All of the Above
Remember, all the controls work together - you can combine settings in any number of ways.
For example, you might look for a gift by grouping by brand, setting a price range and filtering out products without a gift wrap option. This will show you many potential gifts, from competing brands, in your exact price range.
